In the hand of the Potter
Jeremiah
18:4
“And
the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter;
so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the
potter to make.”
I am
blown away by yet another passage of scripture which reminds me that
now matter what happens to me or what choices I make God is always
ready and willing to take my mess and make it beautiful in His eyes.
He still has a plan in mind when I falter in my walk. I am so
extremely thankful for this knowledge! It sets me free from the
bondage of shame and guilt, It releases me from the weight of my
mistakes. Jesus has paid the price so that I can be free from all of
it and not only be free but also have a life that pleases Him. The
only condition is a life surrendered to Him, the word says His yoke
is easy and His burden is light, (Matthew 11:30) So even giving my
life up to Him is placed on His shoulders since He knows I couldn’t
do this on my own. I praise the God above who only asks me to give up
my burdens in order to be abundantly blessed by Him.
Application
I
want to continue to walk in this freedom day by day so I will thank
God for the freedom He has given me, that I can dance, and sing, and
shout because He has saved me from the pit of hell and brought me
into His glorious plans.
